The No. 10/10 Penn State football team (5-1, 2-1 Big Ten) suffered a 41-17 defeat to No. 5/4 Michigan (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten) on Saturday in Michigan Stadium, dropping its first game of the 2022 season.

On three of its four excursions into the penalty area in the first half, the Michigan offence was limited to field goals by the Nittany Lions' defence.

The second half saw a major uptick in the Wolverine rushing offence, with two touchdown runs of 60+ yards each by Donovan Edwards and Blake Corum increasing the Michigan lead.
