When it comes to health care: Kia nurses need to be better than they are, report says

— It’s been about two months since the first signs of the coronavirus hit the U.S., but many U.C.L.A. nurses are still struggling to cope.
Kia, a manufacturer of small cars, said Friday it’s hiring a nurse to help with the new coronaviruses outbreak and the nurses have been getting training.
The nurses who’ve received training include one in a nursing home, another in an outpatient clinic and a third in a hospital.
The first four have been trained on a mobile phone and the last one has been given the job as a patient care nurse.
Kias nurses are getting a much better understanding of what to do in the hospital and how to be prepared to respond to an outbreak.
That’s helping them be better prepared and prepared to help their patients.
It’s also helping them to deal with the stress of having to keep up with a rapidly evolving epidemic.
The nurse has already been training nurses and they’re going to keep doing that, said Kia spokeswoman Kelly Smith.
But that doesn’t mean they’re necessarily getting better at it.
